I’m Robin Cassells, a qualified superyacht engineer with over 30 years of professional experience in the yacht industry.
From my base at Felixstowe Ferry Boatyard, I specialise in yacht electrical work. on the Orwell and Deben. Including Suffolk Yacht Harbour, Ipswich Marina, Shotley Marina, The Tidemill Yacht Harbour, and Woolverstone Marina.
All marine electrical work is carried out to ABYC, ISO, or RCR standards, wherever possible.
Marine electrician and MCA qualified chief engineer of yachts up to 200 tons and 1000hp.
I also hold a yachtmaster offshore and have several hundred thousand miles of sea experience.
What will it cost?
My pricing is simple, transparent and competitive.
Labour – £60 / hour outside Felixstowe Ferry Boatyard.
Labour – £55 / hour at Felixstowe Ferry Boatyard.
Minimum charge outside the boatyard is 2 hours.
There is no VAT payable.
Compare that to local marinas and boatyards and you will find it competitive, whilst giving you the benefit of having a 30 year experienced engineer on board your boat.
